Prior to the pyrotechnics associated with the Canada Winter Games closing ceremonies, a different kind of heat was brought to UNBC Sunday morning, with Prince George RCMP making an arrest on campus.
Police responded to the school at around 11:15 a.m. after a report of a male student uttering threats.
A 54-year-old man was arrested in the campus library and was held in custody until his first appearance at provincial court Monday.
Alexander Herman Hobart was charged with two counts of uttering threats and causing a disturbance.
