A new breast imaging clinic is now open at University Hospital of Northern B.C.
With the help of "state-of-the-art" equipment, the clinic will allow women to get screening mammograms and, if required, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds in one location, .
"This will improve access to services, and result in less time between screening, and diagnosis and treatment," Northern Health and the B.C. Cancer Agency said in a joint press release.
The clinic is located on the hospital's fourth floor and is the outcome of a $2.6-million project.
