Fort St. John RCMP searching for break and enter suspect

The Fort St John RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male break and enter suspect, after a report of a commercial break and enter on Jan. 2 to a business located on the 9300 block of 102nd Street. 

Officers attended the scene and obtained video surveillance, which indicated that at around 2:35 a.m., a man jumped the fence, cut locks and accessed structures in order to steal tools and various other items. The man then fled the scene by foot, noted police. 

The suspect male was clean shaven, wearing dark framed glasses, a black hoodie and dark toque, black pants, brown shoes, and red gloves, they added. 

The suspect is described as:

  • Mid 30’s to mid 40’s,
  • Approximately 5’10" tall (177 cm),
  • Medium build,
  • Clean shaven,
  • Wearing dark framed glasses,
  • Wearing tan shoes with white soles,
  • Wearing red and black mechanic type gloves.

Fort St John RCMP are continuing to investigate and asking anyone who has information about this suspect, or dashcam video of the area at the time, to contact the detachment at 250-787-8100.
