Dawson Creek Law Courts 

Brandon Roy Horne (born 1989) was sentenced to one day in jail, handed 12 months of probation with a three-year criminal driving ban, and given a five-year driving ban for fleeing from police. Another day in jail and a second 12-month probation order was given for breaching a release order. 

Horne was also ordered to provide a DNA sample, and given a further 12 months of probation for assault with a weapon. He was also handed 12 months of probation, and a three-year criminal driving ban with a five-year driving ban for fleeing from police, possession of stolen property over $5,000, and dangerous operation of a conveyance. 

Chelsey Marie Lamont (born 1976) was sentenced to a single day in jail and 18 months of probation for mischief $5,000 or under, and break and enter committing an indictable offence. 

Soren Kirk Thomson (born 1998) was fined $2,000, handed an 18-month driving ban, and assessed $600 victim surcharge for impaired driving.  

Donald Eric Apsassin (born 1976) was fined $1,000 and assessed a $150 victim surcharge for driving with a suspended licence. Apsassin was assessed a $20 victim surcharge and given 12 months of probation for causing a disturbance and breaching a release order. 

Apsassin was also given another 12 months of probation with a $20 victim surcharge for assault and taking or occupying a vehicle or vessel without the consent of the owner.
