RCMP searching for missing northern B.C. woman

The Dawson Creek RCMP say they're seeking any information on the whereabouts of Rene Didier, who was reported missing in Dawson Creek on Dec.7 by friends and family. Police say they're concerned for Didier's safety and have committed several resources to finding her. 

Rene is also known to use the last name, Supernant, and was last seen in Dawson Creek on Dec. 2. 

"Rene has not had contact with friends or family since, this is out of character for her," wrote RCMP in a press release. 

Rene is described as

  • 40 year old woman
  • Indigenous
  • Brown hair and brown eyes
  • 5 ft 10 in tall
  • 120 lbs

Anyone who has information about Rene or her whereabouts are asked to call the Dawson Creek RCMP detachment at 250-784-3700. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
