Police in B.C. are looking for Chadwick Wsiaki, who is believed to be armed and is wanted on Canada-wide warrants.
He is a suspect in a number of violent incidents in the Victoria area, including two alleged assaults with weapons — one of which happened Sunday in Stadacona Park, near Pandora and Oak Bay avenues.
In that incident, he is alleged to have brandished a machete after assaulting a woman.
Police said he could be in a Victoria park where others are camping and sheltering.
The 35-year-old is described as:
- White
- 6'0"
- Slim build
- Brown eyes
- Short dark brown hair
- Short dark brown beard
He often wears a black ball cap and has a tattoo that says “stay strong” on his right forearm.
Anyone who sees Wsiaki should call 9-1-1.
