The Canadian Press has projected Shirley Bond of the BC Liberal Party will retain her seat as MLA in Prince George-Valemount. This would be Bond's sixth term.
BC Liberal candidate Mike Morris is also projected to win re-election by the Canadian Press. This would be his third term.
It has also been projected that the BC NDP will win a majority government.

CBC News British Columbia has projected a BC NDP Government will be elected.

The first results of the night are in for Prince George-Mackenzie (two out of 82 ballot boxes):
- Joan Atkinson - 46 votes
- Catharine Kendall - 23 votes
- Dee Kranz - 2 votes
- Mike Morris - 38 votes
- Raymond Rodgers - 1 vote

The first results of the night are in for Prince George-Valemount (two out of 88 ballot boxes):
- Shirley Bond - 18 votes
- Mackenzie Kerr - 5 votes
- Laura Parent - 2 votes
- Sean Robson - 5 votes
