A musical night of the '80s onstage in Prince George

The club atmosphere was infectious for the 1300 in attendance

The Song Remains the Same was an album and movie by Led Zeppelin released in 1976 but the title could have been used for Tuesday night's '80s concert at CN Centre.

Four of the top bands from that decade proved that they can still deliver the goods four decades later to a more than appreciative audience of approximately 1,300.

The show was opened by The Spoons, who soon had everyone dancing and singing along to their hits. Men Without Hats followed with the non-stop energetic Ivan Doroschuk showing that he is still passionate about entertaining his fans.

A Flock of Seagulls was the third act of the night and, though lead singer/keyboard player Mike Score no longer sports the signature coiffure he had when they broke into the music scene, the band proved they haven't forgotten a note as they ran through hits such as I Ran and Wishing.

Canadian Gordon Deppe of Spoons did double duty; he's also a member of the British band A Flock of Seagulls.

The final band to take the stage was Honeymoon Suite, serving up their mix of rock and pop with tracks like New Girl Now and Feel It Again.
