Downtown Summerfest returns Saturday, July 20.
The annual event happens at Veteran’s Plaza at City Hall, and marks the 25th anniversary of the Downtown Business Improvement Association!
Summerfest features local live entertainment, an outdoor food court, a market and fun activities for the whole family.
- Outdoor food court: Features everything from butter chicken to bubble tea, milkshakes and bannock from 10 participating vendors.
- Taste of Downtown: Guests can visit the Downtown Prince George booth to pick up a Taste of Downtown Passport, which can turn a meal at a downtown restaurant into a chance to win agrand prize of $500 of restaurant gift certificates. The passport program runs from July 20 to Aug. 31 .
- Outdoor Market: Local and regional vendors, artists and entrepreneurs will be taking part, and downtown merchants will be offering Downtown Summerfest specials.
- Kids and Family Zone: There will be plenty of hands-on children's and family activities from Two Rivers Gallery, the PG Mobile Petting Zoo, the Central BC Railway & Forestry Museum and REAPS. Some activities will require fees for participation.
