A man and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene Sunday evening following a collision just south of Williams Lake.
Police said the two were in a Volkswagen Golf turning left onto Gibbon Road from Richard Road when they were hit by a westbound Honda Pilot.
The occupants of the Honda received non-life threatening injuries.
"The investigation is ongoing and causal factors have yet to be determined," said police, who were called to the scene shortly after 7:30 p.m.
Names of the victims were not released.
