Four vehicles, including two transport trucks and two pickups, were involved in a collision early on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17 north of Prince George.

There were no serious injuries in a four-vehicle collision on Highway 97 North early Tuesday morning, Prince George RCMP report.

It happened just before 6 a.m. near the Davie East Forest Service Road.

Police say a southbound transport truck allegedly crossed the centre line and collided with another semi. A southbound pickup truck was then hit and ended up in a ditch, while a northbound pickup was hit by debris from the collision.

"Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported in this incident," stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, the local RCMP's media relations officer. "The two semi-trailer trucks and the first pickup truck were all towed from the scene and the highway was limited to single lane alternating traffic for several hours as investigators collected data and dealt with the damaged vehicles."

The driver of the southbound semi-trailer truck was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
