Kelowna realtor Darryl Reuter has promised to tattoo a 10x10-inch fire-breathing unicorn on his back if he can raise $10,000.

Reuter made the pledge in a bid to raise funds for Motionball, a non-profit organization that raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics through social and sporting events.

He's taking part in Motionball's Marathon of Sport challenge on Sept. 21 with his team The Fire-breathing Unicorns, and has already raised more than $6,500 towards his goal.

"This is my eighth year doing Motionball and I was looking for a way to change things up. I thought this would be a great way to not only raise money for the Special Olympics, but also raise awareness of the event," says Reuter.

Reuter has served the Kelowna community with real estate company Royal LePage for over 18 years.
