The UNBC Timberwolves Women’s Basketball program, in conjunction with Canada West, has unveiled their complete 2024-25 regular season schedule.
As Sergey Shchepotkin returns for his 11th season on the TWolves sideline, the up-and-coming Timberwolves kick off their season on Friday, Nov. 1 in Kelowna against the UBC Okanagan Heat. Two nights later, the green and gold host the Thompson Rivers WolfPack for their home opener at the Northern Sport Centre. In total, the TWolves will play nine regular season home games in 2024-25.
A road-heavy November slate of games begins on Friday, Nov. 8 and continues Saturday, Nov. 9 in Victoria as the TWolves and VIkes duke it out for a double-header. Then it’s off to Regina for Thursday/Friday clash with the Regina Cougars on November 14 and 15.
The next batch of home-cooking for UNBC will be on Friday, Nov. 22 and Saturday, Nov. 23 when the UBC Okanagan Heat head North for a weekend double-header. With their bye week scheduled for the following weekend, the TWolves won’t play their next regular season game until the second weekend of January.

2025 begins in Abbotsford on Friday, Jan. 10 when UNBC battles the Fraser Valley Cascades. One night later it’s off to UBC for a tilt with the 2025 U SPORTS National Championship hosts. From there, UNBC flip-flops their weekends at home and away.
On Thursday, Jan. 16, the TWolves return home to battle the Victoria Vikes. Then on Sunday, Jan. 18 they’ll host the Trinity Western Spartans.
On Friday, Jan. 24 the TWolves begin a weekend road double-header with the Thompson Rivers WolfPack with the finale happening one night later on Jan. 25.
The next home challenge for UNBC occurs on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1 when they battle the Fraser Valley Cascades twice in a two-day span.
On Feb. 7 and 8, the green and gold wrap up their road schedule with back-to-back matchups with Trinity Western, before returning home to wrap up their 2024-25 season against UBC on Feb. 14 and 15.
