A Vanderhoof man with a history of convictions for violent offences has been charged with manslaughter.
Devin Jonathan Peter Joseph, 36, faces the count in connection with the Oct. 12, 2020 death of Pietro Adamo in Houston.
Joseph was arrested on Monday, North District RCMP said, and remains in custody following a court appearance in Vanderhoof.
RCMP had been called to the parking lot of an apartment building in the community 307 kilometres west of Prince George and found Adamo suffering from life-threatening injuries. He later died in hospital.
According to court records, Joseph has convictions for assault and assault causing bodily harm.
