Move over mermaids, and until we meet again unicorns: Starbucks has released its annual summer special frappuccino. This year’s sugary, colourful, seasonal offering is all about those peace and love vibes, baby: The Tie Dye Frappuccino.
Dropping today (July 10), and available only while supplies last, set your body a-humming with this creamsicle-inspired melt of orange and vanilla, served up looking like a whipped cream- and sprinkles-topped lava lamp of rainbow colours.
Starbucks has jumped onto the gotta-have-it seasonal drink routine for the last few years offering up brightly-coloured high-voltage creamy drinks that get people buzzing — from online commenters vying to be first to post a “diabeetus” gif to Instagrammers who feel the need to feed their feed, not to mention from the actual sugar content itself.
In the past Starbucks has done a Unicorn Frapp, as well as a Mermaid Frappuccino, and, last year, a Crystal Ball one. They’ve even done a Zombie Frapp for Halloween. Hit up a Starbucks if you want to taste the rainbow, before those “Heyyyyy mannn” Tie Dye vibes fade for good.
