The Baldy Hughes Therapeutic Community has been developed on a solid foundation of love and mutual respect both inside Baldy Hughes and from the community of Prince George.

While the program may have been stirred by the recent change in leadership, I have absolute faith that it will continue to grow stronger every day as it has since it opened I want to echo Lorne by celebrating the heroic work of the staff and supporters, who work selflessly and tirelessly with the most complicated addiction challenges that this province presents.

There is a very exciting future for Baldy Hughes and the Therapeutic Community model and like Lorne I feel extremely proud and honored to have been a part of developing Baldy Hughes and to have shared the journey to wellness with so many men and their families.

We must go forward, placing principals before personalities. As I take my place as a cheerleader for Baldy Hughes, I salute the Men in recovery, their families and staff and wish them the best that life has to offer.
