Here's a list of some of the events taking place for Halloween in Prince George.
Haunted Maze at the Exhibition Grounds goes Oct. 27, 28 and 31. Medium scare is set for 6 to 8:15 p.m. Advanced scare is set for 8:40 to 11:45 p.m. Kids Days are Oct. 22 and 29 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. and as always there will be family-friendly creatures handing out treats. Admission is by donation for the Elizabeth Fry Society and non-perishable food items will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul Society. To volunteer email [email protected]

Punk Rock Halloween Vinyl Show at Nancy O’s, 1261 Third Ave., on Oct. 27 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. $5 cover. This is a 19+ show. DJ's Larry & Kurt offer a punk rock odyssey. Riley will do a round of "that’s so punk rock" trivia. There’s prizes for trivia, luck of the draw and best costume.
90s Halloweekend at the Civic Centre goes Oct. 27 and 28 at 8:30 p.m.that includes a 90s style DJ dance party, live rock bands and burlesque show. Prizes for best costumes. This production includes concert-style sound, lighting, a laser show, video, projection mapping, in a safe and secure venue, and uplifting vibes all night long. Magik Moon Market at Spruce Capital Seniors goes Oct. 27 from 1 to 7 p.m. Join in the family fun. Hot dogs and apple cider by donation. Halloween goodies, face painting and a variety market for all things Halloween.
Halloween Haunted Journey at Kool Cats Kid Care, 6989 Gladstone Ave., goes Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the 30th anniversary of the event that sees great games and features the haunted house. Tickets are $3 per person, cash at the door. There will be prizes and candy. Proceeds go to the College Heights Community Association Halloween Fireworks fund.
Pumpkin Walk at Northern Lights Estate Winery goes Oct. 28 and 29. This will be a spook-tacular evening of family fun for all ages. There are hundreds of intricately hand-carved pumpkins illuminating a winding path through the orchard, Halloween selfie booth, spooky photo stations for eerie pics, carnival games hosted by the Star City Cheer team from 4 to 8 p.m. Cash only. Kids craft station, goat petting and snacks. Start times are staggered from 3:20 to 9 p.m. Tickets available online.
The Pumpkin Express at Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum goes Sunday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a story walk, free pumpkins at the pumpkin patch, Halloween crafts and photos, bean bag toss, ladder ball and washer toss. Minirail rides for a fee as well as a full concession on offer. Admission is free with a donation of non-perishable food items if you are able.
Hallowe’en, presented by the Prince George Symphony Orchestra, goes Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. at Vanier Hall, 2901 Griffiths Ave. Bring the whole family for a seasonal offering featuring Lemony Snicket’s The Composer is Dead and scary classics by Mussorgsky, Greig and more. Haunted Lodge at Hart Highlands Winter Club (Hart Ski Hill) goes Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 4 to 9 p.m. The Haunted Lodge will get scarier as the night goes on. $10 per person or $30 per family.
