Cody Karey is batchin' it at the national level.
Coming off his recent MasterChef Canada final four performance, his vocal solo at the closing ceremonies of the Canada Winter Games, and always producing new contemporary pop music, Karey was a busy young man this past year.
The staff at Hello Canada Magazine noticed and put him on a rather exclusive list they published. He is among their elite for male prospects among the men of Canada.
Karey, born and raised in Fort St. James, was named one of Canada's Top 25 hottest bachelors by the glam-culture magazine.
The definition of single was not explicitly outlined by Hello Canada. Just because a celebrity is unmarried doesn't mean they aren't in a committed relationship under the media radar, or changes in relationship status not happening suddenly, or for some in modern times even formal matrimonial ties being looser than for others. The makers of the list didn't make personal judgments or pry into business that wasn't theirs, merely collected a package of seemingly available gentlemen, all of whom were spotlight material on their professional sides.
In Karey's case, he confirmed he was "only very recently single" when Hello Canada came calling for his participation. His current status was not discussed.
Karey was included on the list that also named actors like Taylor Kitsch, Dan Levy, Keifer Sutherland, Franois Arnaud and Will Arnett; athletes like Milos Raonic, P.K. Subban, and Dalton Pompey; musicians like Justin Bieber, Shad and Drake; and other celebrities like entrepreneur Jonathan Scott and model Noah Mills.
We knew Karey could cook with flare on the national stage, but now we know he is also a dish himself in the eyes of Canada, and his double-edged career - chef and musician - just keeps on cookin'.
