Theatre Northwest is holding a one-night only stage reading of Canadian playwright Norm Foster’s Halfway There on Friday (Oct. 20).
The comedy is set in the diner of the small town of Stewiacke, Nova Scota, where four close friends - Vi, Rita, Mary Ellen and Janine - make it their business to know everybody’s business. When Sean, a heartbroken doctor, comes to town to take a temporary job at the clinic, hilarity ensues.
Bonnie Leach directs Catherine Hansen (Vi), Katherine Trepanier (Rita), Krista Dunlop (Mary Ellen), Sandra Clermont (Janine) and Frank Caffrey (Sean).
The show starts at 7 p.m.
