To mark the third anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, a gathering will be held Sunday, Feb. 23 to provide an update on Ukrainian refugees who have been displaced by the ongoing war and to screen a film about the invasion.

The event will be held at the Knox Performance Centre, 1448 Fifth Ave. Doors open at 1 p.m., with the information session at 1:30 p.m. and the film, Life to the Limit, beginning at 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Life to the Limit is a documentary from the creators of Winter on Fire, which follows two film producers, both active servicemen, as they return to eastern Ukraine after attending the 2016 Oscars.

Through a mix of personal memories and footage from their own video archive, the film sheds light on the factors that led to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
