Theatre North West presents I, Claudia until Oct. 16. The opening season play finds Claudia a 12 -year-old girl in her secret hide away at her elementary school dealing with her dad, her step-mom and her own life. This comedy has won two Canadian Comedy Awards, a Gemini, an ACTRA award, Sterling Award and two Dora Awards. The play is presented every night except Mondays. There is a script reading on Thursday at the Daily Grind, 1505 Third Avenue at 7 p.m. Virginia O'Dine has written a script based on the latest novel by Robert J. Sawyer. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.

There is a massive hip hop event at the Rum Jungle on Friday. The show will feature
up and coming hip hop star Evil Ebenezer, whose Take Me with You can be seen on Muchmusic, and local favourites Jellis C & Shae Morin, newcomer Verbz in tha Mix and the Quesnel Hip Hop act Ill Literate. There is a $10 cover for a full night of Hip Hop.

Jesse Dee and Jacquie B a roots duo from Wells will be performing Friday at Nancy O's, 1261 Third Ave., at 8 p.m. This duo has performed in Prince George often and will make a stop before heading east for a tour that begins with a train ride from Edmonton.
Steven Palmer, roots artist, will be performing at Meow Records, #100 300 Brunswick Street ,Saturday at 8 p.m. with special guest Dawn Boudreau. Tickets are $10.
Mennonite Fall Fair will take place Saturday at the Civic Centre from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come and enjoy a great meal and shop for quality new and used items. Take away food sale items include Winkler farmer sausage, perogies, local and Okanagan produce, fair-trade coffee and home baking, jams and preserves. There is also crafts booths, a silent auction in the morning, used clothing, books and garage sale items.
The 10th annual B.C. Rivers Day will take place Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at Fort George Park. There will be entertainment and information booths and everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
