Blood chocolate. In the same spirit as blood diamonds, a local group is trying to turn public tastes away from a common treat made by kidnapped slave children.

The Prince George group is called 27 Million Voices, chaired by Christos Vardacostas and centred on the studies in Africa of UNBC post-graduate student Allison Fedorkiw. Their first major event was just announced, a gala dinner and dance with a keynote speaker on the subject of human trafficking.
