‘April Wexler’ is heading north this May.
In perhaps its biggest 2020 celebrity announcement thus far, Northern FanCon will be welcoming actress Tara Reid to its annual Prince George convention.
The 44-year-old has been on the silver- and small-screens for the last two decades, widely-known for her recurring roles in franchises like American Pie, Sharknado and Scrubs.
Originally from New Jersey, Reid has more than 70 movies on her resume, like The Big Lebowski, Josie and the Pussycats, Urban Legend and Van Wilder, and has produced almost a dozen films and shows herself.
She started her career at the tender age of six after appearing on a children’s game show and earned commercial gigs for Jell-O, McDonald’s and Crayola.
Depending on your viewpoint, Reid has also been on the ‘under-achieving’ microscope of Hollywood fans as she’s been nominated for three Razzie Awards for Worst Actress, Worst Supporting Actress and Worst Screen Couple.
Regardless, she appears to continue to be in demand, according to IMDB, listed in four post-production movies for 2020 and eight pre-production movies for 2021.
This will be her first-ever visit to Prince George when she attends Northern FanCon from May 8-10, 2020.
Reid is joining other celebrities at the CN Centre like Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Marc Bernardin (Castle Rock), Pat Mastroianni and Stacie Mistysyn (Degrassi) and Jason David Frank (Power Rangers).
You can visit Northern FanCon’s website for more event information and tickets.
