The Scotiabank AIDS Walk took place on Saturday morning with roughly sixty walkers departing Canada Games Plaza and following a route through the downtown core of the city. The event, which was hosted by Positive Living North, is in support of those living with HIV/AIDS and is meant to help raise awareness and funds in the Prince George area.
In the past thirty years, over 30 Canadian communities have taken part in the walk and raised over $43million for community based AIDS organizations.
