Sunny skies in the forecast for the BCNE weekend

Prince George can expect a high of 21 C Saturday, Aug. 17, with clear skies and no Environment Canada air quality warnings.

Environment Canada has ended a week-long special air quality statement for Prince George that was issued after hazy wildfire smoke settled over the city.

With the BCNE in full swing at Exhibition Park, the morning of Saturday, Aug. 17 saw clear skies, fresher air and light breezes in the area.

Saturday's forecast calls for a high of 21 C with sunny skies before an overnight low of 6 C.

For Sunday, expect mainly sunny conditions with a high of 24 C and an overnight low of 13 C. On Monday, the area should see sun and a high of 22 C.
