The City of Prince George issued 40 total building permits worth a collective $13,998,826 in November, according to a report being presented to city council at its Dec. 16 meeting.
That included 13 commercial, industrial and institutional permits worth $9,293,600.
It also included nine multi-family permits worth $1,156,000 and 18 single-family permits worth $3,549,226.
November 2024’s total is a lot higher than November 2023, when 22 permits worth a collective $3,480,487 were issued. However, November 2022 was higher with 42 permits worth a collective $18,757,838.
Through the end of November 2024, Prince George issued a total of 394 building permits worth a total of $260,807,565. That’s a big jump from the same point last year, when 374 permits worth $149,946,328 had been issued.
It’s also a slightly higher value than the same point in time in 2022, when 455 permits $248,684,621 had been issued.
No development permits were issued in November this year.
