A warrant has been issued for a man accused of trafficking in cocaine after he failed to appear in Prince George provincial court last week.
The court was scheduled to consider a pre-sentence report for Rory Patrick McAllister, 27, on Wed., Jan. 7. A warrant was issued after he was a no show for the hearing and he remained at large as of Wednesday afternoon, Prince George RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass confirmed.
McAllister faces a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking from an Oct. 3, 2012 incident in which police say they pulled over a car being driven away from a "known drug house" and found cocaine in the driver's possession.
Anyone with information on where McAllister can be found is asked to call the Prince George RCMP at (250) 561-3300 or anonymously contact Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-TIPS (8477), online at www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca, or Text-A-Tip to CRIMES using keyword "pgtips."
