Prince George's Sarah Beaudry and Burns Lake's Emily Dickson were named to Canada's Olympic Winter Games biathlon team on Tuesday.
It will be Beaudry's second Olympics when the Games are held next month in Beijing, China.
In 2018 in PyeongChang, South Korea, she finished 29th in the women's 15-kilometre individual and was a member of Canada's 10th-place 4x6 kilometre relay team.
In the season following her Olympic debut, she recorded a career-best 12th-place finish on the World Cup circuit in the 7.5-kilometre sprint.
Dickson competed in her first World Cup events in 2020, just ahead of her debut at the senior world championships where she was part of a ninth-place finish in the women’s 4x6km relay.
Biathlon will take place at the National Biathlon Centre in the Zhangjiakou Zone. Competition begins on February 5 and continues almost daily until February 19.
