Prince George Communities in Bloom is inviting community groups to apply for matching grants to pay for beautification projects.
Applicants may apply for funding of 50 per per cent of project costs to a maximum of $2,500.
Past grants have gone towards community gardens, composting sites, heritage landscape projects and tree planting at schools and in neighbourhoods.
Applications are available online - go to www.city.pg.bc.ca and click on the Communities in Bloom logo. The deadline for submitting an application is May 3.
