The bodies of two men who went missing during a canoe trip on Fraser Lake have been recovered.
RCMP’s underwater recovery team located the bodies of Alberto Calago and Gibrone Cano at noon on Saturday, Fraser Lake RCMP confirmed.
They were last seen on Mon., Sept. 5 at around 12:30 p.m. paddling towards a small island and were not wearing life jackets.
The families have asked for privacy at this time while the Fraser Lake RCMP are thanking all community members for their support during the search.
