The Prince George-Mackenzie riding in the upcoming election will see a familiar face on its ballot.
The BC Greens announced Catharine Kendall will run in the snap-election earmarked for Oct. 24.
Kendall also ran in the Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies for the Green Party of Canada during the 2019 federal election.
Kendall is the second candidate in either of Prince George’s ridings to have ran in the previous federal election, as Mackenzie Kerr ran for the Green Party of Canada in the Cariboo-Prince George riding and will represent the BC Green Party on the ballot in Prince George-Valemount.
The 2019 federal results saw Kendall finish third behind winner and incumbent Conservative Party Canada of candidate Bob Zimmer and runner-up Mavis Erickson with the Liberals.
Kendall received 3,448 votes which equated to 6.3. per cent.
So excited to run with Catharine again! For those of you on the other side of the highway, THIS is your candidate! https://t.co/SiHonKUPS5
