On the afternoon of July 30th, Provincial Regional Crown Counsel approved a charge of Manslaughter against Patrick Mathewsie, 44 years old.
Mathewsie will be remanded in custody until his first court appearance on the morning of Wednesday August 4th, 2010.
Investigators have determined that both the accused and the victim were known to each other. Both males were known to the police, but have no gang affiliations.
The identity of the deceased in being still being withheld, pending notification of next of kin.
