The B.C. government's trade mission to China, which included several stakeholders from Prince George, had a northern agenda. The region's contingent wanted to solidify some short-term return on their investment so far, and that would come in the way of attracting students from China to come study at places like College of New Caledonia, the University of Northern British Columbia, even area high schools.
