The College of New Caledonia (CNC) students will be paying more in 2019-20 for tuition.
The CNC Board of Governors approved a two per cent domestic tuition and mandatory fees increase for next years academic school year on Nov. 30 at a meeting in Prince George.
A press release says the board also approved a motion that the money from the two per cent increase will be put directly toward support and development of students.
The post-secondary institution points to a government release that indicates the increase is standard.
“CNC remains the second lowest tuition at a B.C. college for a full-time academic arts program student,” says Henry Reiser, CNC President, in the release.
The CNC has campuses in Prince George, Quesnel, Mackenzie, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Burns Lake.
