CNC Board of Governors approves two per cent tuition hike

The school says the increase is standard for British Columbia colleges

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) students will be paying more in 2019-20 for tuition.

The CNC Board of Governors approved a two per cent domestic tuition and mandatory fees increase for next years academic school year on Nov. 30 at a meeting in Prince George.

A press release says the board also approved a motion that the money from the two per cent increase will be put directly toward support and development of students. 

The post-secondary institution points to a government release that indicates the increase is standard

“CNC remains the second lowest tuition at a B.C. college for a full-time academic arts program student,” says Henry Reiser, CNC President, in the release.

The CNC has campuses in Prince George, Quesnel, Mackenzie, Vanderhoof, Fort St. James and Burns Lake.
