Prince George Spruce Kings head coach Chad van Diemen goes over the game plan prior to overtime on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at the Coliseum, which will now be known as Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

For the next five years the Coliseum will be named the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.

The City of Prince George and the Prince George Spruce Kings Junior A Hockey Club have signed a five-year contract with the local company that's more than 50 years old.

In the agreement it said every year Rolling Mix will provide $25,000 to $30,000 to the Spruce Kings and the city while between $15,000 to $20,000 worth of concrete will be provided toward constructing the Spruce Kings Lottery House along with $10,000.

"This arrangement supports a well-established, successful, and community-owned sports team

while providing funds that can be allocated to the continuing maintenance of the Coliseum,

which was built in the mid-1950s," said Kathleen Soltis, city manager.

The agreement goes into effect immediately and will be presented to council on Monday.

The Spruce Kings are planning events in February to mark the new arena name.
