One person is dead after a collision on Highway 97.
Prince George RCMP responded to a report of a collision near the intersection of Highway 97 and Summit Lake Road, about 50 kilometres north of Prince George, at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 24.
Police say a vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with a logging truck.
One person was killed as a result of the collision, with BC Coroners Service called to the scene.
The highway was closed for several hours as a result of the collision and the coroner's investigation. The highway has since reopened.
