As the COVID-19 situation evolves daily, Tim Hortons has announced it will be closing its dining room seating in an effort to help contain the spread of the virus.
“Today we are announcing significant measures to bolster national efforts to contain COVID-19 and protect and support restaurant guests, team members and the public in Canada,” says the company in a March 15 news release.
“Starting tomorrow, March 17, 2020, all Tim Hortons restaurants will focus on take-out, drive-thru and delivery service (where available) and will close all dining room seating in most locations until further notice.”
The company says this has been done to contribute to social distancing that’s been called for by public health officials.
