The gloves have dropped and the claws are coming out.
The Prince George Cougars and CrossRoads are raising a glass on a new collaboration that will see the team embodied in its own special can of craft beer.
‘Claws Out’ is the local brewery’s take on an American style blonde ale, is said to be light and refreshing and comes with the taste of citrus fruits and subtle lime notes in a pale malt profile.
Owner Daryl Leiski explains he wanted the new brew in the CrossRoads line-up to celebrate the WHL franchise.
“CrossRoads has always been very community orientated with support to numerous teams and organizations,” he says.
“The Cougars have been part of our community for over 25 years and have had tremendous support, and we are pleased to offer our newest beer to recognize their impact on our city.”
The Cougars beer will only be available for a limited time, according to a team release.
