Citizen owner and publisher Cameron Stolz was surprised by a visitor to his neighbour's yard on Saturday, Jan. 25.
Stolz said he looked over and saw a young moose looking at him.
As he snapped photos, the moose, apparently not too concerned about being so close to him, wandered closer. Eventually, the moose ended up on the other side of Stolz's sturdy steel fence and gave him a once-over before moving off.
This is the second moose encounter a member of The Citizen team has had this winter.
