A 40-year-old woman from Dawson Creek has died from critical injuries suffered Tuesday in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 2 at Swan Lake Road.
Police say Sara Kolkea, the driver of a west-bound SUV, pulled in front of of a north-bound tanker. Kolkea, who was the lone occupant in the vehicle, was taken to Dawson Creek Hospital, but died later due to injuries.
RCMP Sgt. Kurt Peats reminds the public to have good winter tires and drive to road conditions.
