Nobody was injured, but a fire in Prince George this morning (Oct. 30) left a high price tag.
According to Fire Rescue, crews extinguished a blaze a block from Freeman Park, to which the cause is under investigation after it left $40,000 in damages.
A release states firefighters found a detached garage at the back of a home on 1200-block Ewert Street after responding to the call around 6 a.m.
The structure was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived, but they were easily able to extinguish it.
There were no injuries reported to fire personnel or the public.
