Central Mountain Air is launching direct air service between Prince George and Campbell River next month.
Starting on July 14, the airline will offer direct flights to the small city on the northeast coast of Vancouver Island twice a week. One flight each direction will fly every Wednesday and Thursday.
“We are excited to be offering a great new option from the area to northern B.C.” CMA executive Michael Claeren said in a press release. “The connections to Terrace, Fort St. John and Fort Nelson are well-timed for mid-morning arrival and mid-afternoon return."
The airline said it is optimistic about the future of air travel, as public health restrictions begin to ease across the country.
