A parade of pooches is set for next Saturday, Aug. 14, at the Prince George Farmers' Market.
There will be two age categories: 12 years and under and 13 years and over (no age limit) - for the owners.
Dogs will be judged in different categories: Best dressed couple (dog and handler), best trick (by the dog), and most original costume (on the dog).
Participants in the event will meet at the manager's tent between the flag poles in front of the courthouse at 10:15 a.m.
The parade will go down Second Avenue and up Third Avenue between the vendors to show off and finish on top of the courthouse stairs where the judging will occur.
Everyone will be invited to have photos taken with their pet as part of the fundraising efforts of Paws For A Cause. Photos will be a minimum donation of $5.
