The Prince George Airport Authority is warning residents not to panic if they see smoke near the airport in October.
Its just a part of ongoing fire training and certification for airport staff.
The training fires are held in contained training facilitates under controlled conditions, but the fires may produce dark smoke in and around the airport.
The training is scheduled for:
- Oct. 9 from 7 to 9 a.m.
- Oct. 24 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
