A B.C. man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for two counts of murder has been arrested in Metro Vancouver.

Burnaby RCMP say 53-year-old Roy Frederick Fraser surrendered voluntarily early Tuesday morning.

That was about 12 hours after RCMP issued a warrant for Fraser's arrest on one count each of first-degree and second-degree murder.

The slayings of 31-year-old Damien Marks and 24-year-old Kenneth Yaretz are believed to be linked to drugs.

The two men disappeared from the Kamloops area in April of 2009.

Their bodies were found one month later in a shallow grave on a property that had been rented by Fraser, north of Kamloops.
