Prince George fire and rescue crews responded to a structure fire at approximately 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, in the 1000 block of Parsnip Crescent.
First responders found heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof and eaves of the residential building on all four sides.
Crews from three fire halls worked quickly to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to neighbouring homes.
No injuries have been reported among the occupants or fire crews.
Firefighters remained on scene for several hours to extinguish the fire and assist those affected by the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $450,000.
