Electric vehicles on display at Prince George area events this week

Residents can ask questions about going electric and even go for a test drive.

The Prince George Electric Vehicle Association is holding three free events this week to show off the capability and variety of electric vehicles.

The group will be at Rivers Edge Services (3981 - 18th Ave.) from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (June 13) night. There will be a variety of EVs on display, including a special contingent of e-bikes

All Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrids (PHEVs) – cars, trucks, motor bikes, scooters, e-bikes, snow mobiles, ATVs – are welcome to attend.

Residents can ask questions about going electric and even go for a test drive.

On Saturday, the group will be in Quesnel from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Barkerville Brewing Co. parking lot (185 Davie St.) and then in Hixon from 4 to 5 p.m. beside the Level 3 charging stations beside the Tempo Gas bar.
