Everyone safe after early morning duplex fire on Carney Street

Early this morning Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on Carney Street. 

At about 3:19 a.m. crews from three halls responded to the fire in the 1300 block of Carney Street where they found flames coming from the front of the duplex. 

The fire was quickly extinguished. There were three occupants in the units, but all got out safely. The damage is estimated to be around 125,000. There were no injuries to the fire crews on scene either. 

Prince George Fire Rescue says the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
