Education expert Gary Anaka will be in Prince George on Tuesday evening to present a workshop on the "magical teenage brain."
Hosted by the Prince George Child Care Association, it will be held at the Hart Community Centre, 4900 West Austin Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the workshop runs from 7 to 9 p.m.
Anaka will speak about learning in a "brain compatible way" that helps grow new brain cells and new connections every day and nourishes the teenage brain and reduces stress, the value of getting teenagers moving and why it is critical to do so and how to avoid brain killers.
