Festival of Trees fundraisers continue

As with most events held throughout the city the Festival of Trees looks a little different this year and the name reflects that sentiment - 2020 Reimagined. If cold hard cash appeals to residents, take advantage of the 50/50 draw at www.fot5050.ca.

As with most events held throughout the city the Festival of Trees looks a little different this year and the name reflects that sentiment - 2020 Reimagined.

If cold hard cash appeals to residents, take advantage of the 50/50 draw at www.fot5050.ca.

The maximum payout is $125,000.

This would be a great stocking stuffer for a lucky family member.

The draw takes place on Dec. 30 and those who participate must be 19+.

For something completely different buy a ticket for a chance to Design Your Own Diamond worth $10,000. There's also a Harley Davidson raffle presented by the Prince George Fire Fighters.

This year's fundraiser is designated for a dedicated molecular diagnostic lab at the University Hospital of Northern BC. The lab will increase testing capacity for COVID-19 and influenza that will see increased turn around times for test results that will enable front line clinicians to make faster decisions on how to provide the best care possible for patients.

There are many ways to support the fundraising efforts made by the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation and to see them all visit www.festivaloftreespg.ca
